Beautiful Chaos

A meditative art, beneath all the disorder, there is order. And that is what I want to find.

As a meditative act, the beginning is always slow, repetitive, taking each colour on its own, covering every possible space on the canvas, brush by brush, until reaching the conjunction of a middle point. Each colour at first must go down the same path, without touching one another, but with the same direction, toward the same center. In the center, where the symbiosis occurs, that’s when the chaos begins. It is peace and movement.

A meditative art form

The inspiration comes from when I saw monks creating mandalas with colored sand, sopeacefully. It’s a meditative art that, after being created, is destroyed. That destruction, initself, represents a culmination of colors and experiences.
